Grind Mode

To enable Grind mode, select “Grind” from the “Bot Mode” dropdown. You must ensure an appropriate Skill Profile is chosen, or Grind mode will not work.

For information about setting up custom grind markers, please see Grind Markers.

Grind Mode - Settings Tab

  • Auto-Level Mode: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will determine where to grind based on logic found in the Auto-Grind Configuration that is opened by clicking “Modify Auto-Grind”
  • Do Hunting Log: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will complete your class hunting log while grinding.
  • Do Atma: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will complete the Atma phase of the 2.0 (A Realm Reborn) Relic.
  • Do Luminous: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will complete the Luminous Crystal phase of the 2.0 (A Realm Reborn) Relic.
  • Do Fates: When enabled, the bot will complete FATEs in addition to mob-grinding.
    • Fates Only: When enabled, the bot will idle between FATEs, and will not perform mob-grinding.
  • Kill Non-Fate Aggro: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will kill mobs during FATEs that are not part of the FATE itself.
  • Rest In Fates: When enabled, the bot will 'rest' (stop and wait for health at a certain %) during an active FATE. 1)
  • Min Fate Lv.: Sets the minimum FATE level relative to your class/job level. For example, if you set this to 5, and your character's class is 35, FFXIVMinion will look for FATEs no lower than level 30. Select the No Min checkbox in order to complete any FATE up to your current class level.
  • Max Fate Lv.: Sets the maximum FATE level relative to your class/job level. For example, if you set this to 5, and your character's class is 35, FFXIVMinion will look for FATEs up to level 40. Select the No Max checkbox in order to complete any FATE above your current class level. 2)

Grind Mode - Hunting Tab

  • Prioritize Claims: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will attempt to claim several enemies at once that meet the whitelist requirements.
  • Claim Range: Adjust the range at which FFXIVMinion will detect claims beyond the original kill.
  • Attack Claimed: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will attack enemies that have been claimed by other people.

Grind Mode - Tweaks Tab

Use this tab to adjust when ffxivminion will respond to a particular type of FATE. For example, “Boss FATEs” is set to 1 by default. This means that ffxivminion will not respond to a boss FATE unless it is at least 1% complete (which means that it will not try to solo boss FATEs).3)

1)
NOTE: Enabling this option can leave your character standing idle in the middle of a FATE, looking very suspicious. Use caution when enabling this option.
2)
NOTE: No Max should be used carefully, as using it in an area with disparate FATE levels can result in a character that rushes in and dies repeatedly.
3)
NOTE: It is recommended to leave “Boss FATEs” at 1%. Otherwise, your character may try to solo a Boss FATE, dying repeatedly and looking very suspicious.
