====== Reporting Bugs and Getting Help ======

Clear reports help us understand problems and resolve them faster. Missing information can delay investigation.

**Reports MUST include a full game screenshot and Report tab information. Please hide your character name before taking the screenshot.**

===== Show the Full Picture ======

A cropped screenshot can hide the cause of a problem. The cowering man only tells part of the story. The full picture reveals the bear.

Include the entire game window, with the relevant bot or addon panels visible.

===== Help Window and Report Tab ======

Open the help window using the **Help!** button in the main UI, then select the **Report** tab.

Include the Report tab information with your bug report, alongside your full game screenshot.

===== Console ======

The console displays errors and information from the bot and addons.

Open it using **Ctrl + C** or through the **Minion icon**.

**Keep the console open and its output visible in your screenshot.** If the text is too long to fit, include the relevant console text separately.

===== Describe the Problem ======

Alongside your screenshot and Report tab information, include:

  * What you were trying to do.
  * What happened and what you expected to happen.
  * Which bot mode or addon you were using.
  * The steps needed to reproduce the issue.
  * Whether it happens every time or only occasionally.

===== Mesh and Navigation Reports ======

Report mesh and navigation issues in the [[http://www.mmominion.com/thread-4859.html|mesh reporting topic]].

Follow the reporting instructions and screenshot example in that topic so the location and problem can be identified.

===== Store Addon Reports ======

Each store addon has its own support forum. Find the relevant addon in the [[http://www.mmominion.com/forum-171.html|store addon support forums]].

Check the addon's reporting instructions and include any additional information requested.

**At a minimum, include a full game screenshot with the console open, Report tab information and a brief description of the issue.**

  * Console output visible or attached.
  * Problem clearly described.
  * Report posted in the appropriate support location.
