Markers

This page details the different kinds of markers available in FFXIVMinion. The MarkerManager is available from the Main Menu:

Gathering Markers

Please find a video below that goes into detail about setting up a Gathering marker.1)


Mining / Botany Markers

Marker Settings:

  • Name: Name of the Marker that will display in the list.
  • Player Level: The minimum and maximum Player level to use the marker.
  • Radius: The radius around the point to look for nodes. 2)
  • Position: The XYZH coordinates for the marker. Initially populated by your position when the “Create Marker” button was clicked.
  • Set New Position: Replaces position with current position.
  • Gather Time: Fixed time to farm this Marker.
  • Node Search Timeout: Used for Marker Team.3)
  • Node level: The minimum and maximum node level FFXIVMinion will search for.
  • Skill Profile: Skill Profile used for this Marker.
  • Use Cordials: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will use Cordials at this Marker.
  • Gardening Items: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will gather items used in gardening, such as Seeds or Soils.4)
  • Chocobo Food: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will gather items used as Chocobo food.5)
  • Rare Items: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will gather items classified as Rare Items.6)
  • Special Rare Items: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will gather items classified as Special Rare Items.7)
  • Stealth: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will use stealth when maneuvering between nodes.
  • Dangerous: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will use stealth more aggressively.

Fishing Markers

Marker Settings:

  • Name: Name of the Marker that will display in the list.
  • Player Level: The minimum and maximum Player level to use the marker.
  • Radius: The radius around the point to look for nodes. 8)
  • Position: The XYZH coordinates for the marker. Initially populated by your position when the “Create Marker” button was clicked.
  • Set New Position: Replaces position with current position.
  • Fish Time: Fixed time to farm this Marker.
  • Bait Choice(s): A comma-separated, case-sensitive list of baits to try to use, in order of preference.
  • Use Mooch: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will use the Mooch class ability.
  • Use Patience I: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will use the Patience I class ability.
  • Use Patience II: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will use the Patience II class ability.
  • Use Fish Eyes: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will use the Fish Eyes class ability.
  • Use Chum: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will use the Chum class ability.
  • Stealth: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will use stealth when maneuvering between nodes.
  • Dangerous: When enabled, FFXIVMinion will use stealth more aggressively.
  • Moochable Fish: The case-sensitive name of the fish to be used for mooching.
  • Whitelist Fish (NQ/HQ): The case-sensitive name of fish you want to keep - if left blank, FFXIVMinion will keep all fish by default, except those on the blacklist.
  • Blacklist Fish (NQ/HQ): The case-sensitive name of the fish you want to release. If the Whitelist has values and this field does not, FFXIVMinion will release any fish NOT on the Whitelist.

Grind Markers

Marker Settings:

  • Name: Name of the Marker that will display in the list.
  • Player Level: The minimum and maximum Player level to use the marker.
  • Radius: The radius around the point to look for nodes. 9)
  • Position: The XYZH coordinates for the marker. Initially populated by your position when the “Create Marker” button was clicked.
  • Set New Position: Replaces position with current position.
  • Grind Time: Fixed time to farm this Marker.
  • Monster Level: Level of the enemies FFXIVMinion will Grind.
  • Whitelist: Names of enemies that FFXIVMinion will Grind.10)
  • Blacklist: Names of enemies that FFXIVMinion will attempt to avoid while Grinding.

Evac Markers

  • Name: Name of the Marker that will display in the list.
  • Player Level: The minimum and maximum Player level to use the marker.
  • Radius: The radius around the point to look for nodes. 12)
  • Position: The XYZH coordinates for the marker. Initially populated by your position when the “Create Marker” button was clicked.
  • Set New Position: Replaces position with current position.

NOTE: A fully zoomed out minimap is roughly a 150 radius

Coalesca's Note: I normally use this field for setting a timeout. In my experience, it is how long FFXIVMinion will look for a node before trying the next Marker
