Order types
| Order type | What it does |
|---|---|
| Manufacturing | Makes a normal item. Minbeth plans the full material chain. |
| Materia Melding | Imports a Teamcraft gear set. It finds missing materia and sends the plan to Tools > Melder. Melding means attaching materia to gear. |
| Big Fish | Scans the Fish Guide. It keeps a changing list of uncaught Big Fish. |
| Sell | Sells selected items from your inventory or saved Retainer stock data. |
| Discard | Permanently deletes selected items that match your filters. |
| Desynthesis | Breaks selected items into materials. It can go to a crafting Home first. |
Quantity modes
| Mode | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Inventory Cap | Stop when your carried inventory has this amount. | If you choose 50, Minbeth stops when you carry 50 ingots. |
| Replenish | Make or gather this amount in addition to what you already have. | If you choose 12, Minbeth adds 12 meals. |
| Retainer Sales | Refill known Retainer Market Board listings to this amount. | If the target is 20, Minbeth refills the listing to 20. |
Material sources
| Choice | What Minbeth may do |
|---|---|
| Automatic / Gather and craft | Use owned items, gathering, and crafting when needed. |
| Buy unobtainable | Buy a material only when the plan cannot gather or craft it. |
| Buy recipe materials | Buy allowed recipe materials. |
| Buy direct ingredients | Buy the immediate ingredients for the requested craft. |
| Gather only | Collect the requested materials. Do not buy them. Do not craft the final ordered item. |
Queue tools
Teamcraft item lists
Paste the Items section from Teamcraft to create multiple Orders. Recipes can finish loading after import.
Profiles and bulk edit
Save or load complete order profiles, or select several Orders and change their shared settings together.
Repeat Order
The order starts again after the amount is complete. It repeats until you stop the queue.
Direct tasks
Use a direct task when you want one activity instead of a full production plan.
Direct crafting
Open Crafting. Select the job and recipe. Set the amount. Check the materials. Then start.
Direct gathering
Check the job, gear, tool, node, and inventory space. Check any time or weather rule. A node is a gathering location.
Direct fishing
Check the location, bait, tackle, time, and weather. Use Big Fish for rare fish campaigns.
Craft quality
The Crafting page lists each recipe in the plan. Choose how Minbeth crafts each recipe.
HQ
HQ means high quality. Cypher Craft plans the craft and checks if HQ sub-materials are needed.
NQ
NQ means normal quality. Minbeth does not use extra materials to try for HQ.
Quick Synthesis
This appears only for supported recipes. Use it when speed is more important than control over each craft.
By default, Minbeth may use available HQ materials and automatically plan HQ sub-materials when Cypher Craft proves they are needed. Rarefied and collectable crafts do not spend HQ sub-materials.
Sell, discard and desynthesise
These orders change selected items. They do not make a new item.
- Items may be selected from carried inventory or cached retainer inventory.
- Sell and Discard can filter by current per-item or stack price.
- Desynthesis shows eligibility and desynthesis value, and can travel to a saved crafting home first.
- Items added by name can wait until they become available.
- Refresh prices and retainer caches before trusting an automatic selection.
Timed sources
A timed source is available only at certain times or in certain weather. Waiting is often normal.
Minbeth may do another ready task while one source is waiting. Check Progress before changing the order.
Collectables and scrip
Scrip is crafting and gathering currency. A collectable order may include making the item and exchanging it.
- The collectable recipe or gathering item is unlocked.
- The job, gear and stats are suitable.
- The target scrip type and amount are correct.
- The exchange is currently available.
Big Fish
Big Fish creates a changing fishing campaign. This feature is marked beta.
Start a campaign
Why a fish waits
- Its time window has not opened.
- The weather is wrong.
- The location, bait or tackle is missing.
- It was not scanned and unscanned fish are excluded.
- Another target has a better ready window.
Campaign options can add missing bait from vendors, allow a Market Board fallback, include unscanned fish, and discard ordinary bycatch when leaving a hole. Unscanned fish are off by default because you may have caught them already.
Economy
Economy tracks products. It estimates replacement cost and profit. It can create orders from checked suggestions.
Off
Stops background checks. Products and old results stay visible.
Review
Updates suggestions. Orders change only when you press QUEUE PLAN.
Automatic
Runs suggestions that pass your safety rules. It can also start the queue and sell if you enable those options.
Sync retainer stock before trusting stock targets. Economy orders stay separate. They do not replace orders that you created.
Market Board
Market Board buying is off by default. Turn it on only when you want Minbeth to spend gil.
Max price each
The most gil Minbeth may pay for one item.
Max total
The most gil Minbeth may spend on the complete purchase.
Keep gil
The amount of gil that must remain untouched.
Vendor buying
Vendor buying is enabled by default and vendors are preferred before the Market Board. Turning Market Board buying off does not disable purchases from NPC vendors. Review Settings > Buying if you want a no-purchase run.
Check prices before buying
Use CHECK PRICES to refresh listings and see the estimated order cost. Per-item caps are checked against refreshed live listings. Some deliberate choices, such as selecting a Market source or enabling Market bait fallback, can switch Market buying on.
Selling
Selling is separate from buying. Add items from carried stock, retainer cache or the item database, then configure quality, target units, listing stack, assigned retainer and minimum price.
Pricing strategies include Guarded, Lowest and Match. Automatic retainer visits can run from every 15 minutes to 24 hours; successful listings and updates are never repeated within 15 minutes. Reprice all listings also checks existing listings that are not in the Sell List.
Retainers
Minbeth saves a copy of Retainer data. This is called a cache. It lets Minbeth plan without opening every Retainer each time. The page is split into Overview, Inventory, Rules and Ventures.
Refresh on open is enabled by default. Optional automation can also withdraw retainer gil after syncing or repeating ventures. If stock looks wrong, sync before creating another order.
Progress
Open Progress to see what Minbeth is doing and what you should do next.
| Status | Meaning | Your next move |
|---|---|---|
| Start queued | Inventory or feature data is refreshing before planning. | Let the queued start finish; use STOP QUEUED START to cancel it. |
| Queued | The operation is valid and waiting for its turn. | No action is normally required. |
| Ready | The task can run now. | It will run when its priority is selected. |
| Waiting | A time, weather, GP, location, or other rule is not ready. GP means Gathering Points. | Read the waiting reason before changing anything. |
| Running | An action is being performed. | Let it finish unless you need to stop safely. |
| Unavailable / blocked | The current rules do not allow a working route. | Fix the first source, unlock, gear, location or currency blocker. |
| Complete | The requested workflow finished. | Confirm the result in inventory, retainer or currency. |
| Error | A workflow failed rather than merely waiting. | Read the exact message, stop cleanly and correct that cause. |
| Idle | No workflow is active. | Start an order or direct action. |
Tools
Tools contains three normal-user workspaces: Order Priorities, Master Books and Melder.
Order Priorities
Controls which ready source or crafting job runs first. A disabled priority cannot execute.
Master Books and Folklore
Refresh ownership, switch between Crafting and Folklore, and use ADD MISSING to create the required orders.
Melder
Import a Teamcraft gearset, review each slot and gear source, add missing materia to Orders, then start, pause or stop melding.
Settings
Settings is split into General, Crafting, Gathering, Fishing, Buying and Repair.

|---|---|
| Craft, gather and fish: on | Minbeth may use these sources when the order allows them. |

| Vendor buying: on | NPC vendor purchases are allowed and preferred before Market Board purchases. |
| Mob Hunt: off | Mob-drop farming is blocked until deliberately enabled. |

| Repair: on at 20% | Minbeth may buy Dark Matter and use an NPC fallback to keep the queue running. |
| Mount and Aethernet: on | Long routes may use mounts and useful city Aethernet travel. |
| Teleport tickets: off | Tickets are not consumed unless you enable them. |
Materia extraction is off until you enable it. Debug, diagnostic and support tuning controls are for troubleshooting and normally do not need changing.
Repairs and travel
Repair methods
Smart
Use Dark Matter where possible, then use an NPC mender.
Dark Matter only
Repair only through the Dark Matter you have available.
NPC mender only
Travel to an NPC mender instead.
Homes
A Home is a saved place for crafting, gathering, or travel. Save the current position, go to a saved home, or remove one you no longer use. A small, practical list is easier to understand.
Default order priorities
Purchase, Gather, Fish, Carpenter, Blacksmith, Armorer, Goldsmith, Leatherworker, Weaver, Alchemist, Culinarian, Exchange, then Mob.
Problems
Open Progress. Find the first unusual status. Use the matching row.
| Problem | Cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Preparing for a while | Minbeth is still loading data or building the plan. | Wait briefly and read the plan details. |
| START QUEUE becomes STOP QUEUED START | Inventory or required feature data is refreshing. | Wait, or press STOP QUEUED START to cancel cleanly. |
| Waiting | A time, weather, location or release condition is not ready. | Read the waiting reason. |
| Blocked on a material | The item is missing, or your source rules do not allow it. | Check inventory and material permissions. |
| Gather only never crafts the item | This mode is designed to collect materials only. | Use Gather and craft if you want the finished item too. |
| Recipe missing | The recipe, book or folklore is unavailable. | Check Crafting and character unlocks. |
| Minbeth will not buy | Buying is off or a cap would be exceeded. | Check buying, max price, max total and Keep gil. |
| Minbeth bought from an NPC | Vendor buying and enabled by default. | Disable vendor buying in Settings > Buying for a no-purchase run. |
| Retainer stock looks wrong | The saved Retainer data is old. | Refresh retainers, then refresh Orders. |
| Economy target looks wrong | Retainer stock or market prices are stale. | Sync stock and refresh Economy before enabling Automatic. |
| A different task runs first | Another task is ready or has higher priority. | Check Tools > Order Priorities. |
| Repairs do not happen | The selected method cannot be used. | Check Dark Matter, NPC access and repair settings. |
| Travel looks unexpected | A saved home or route is active. | Review homes and the active task location. |
| A fish is skipped | Scan, time, weather, bait or campaign rules exclude it. | Check the Fish Guide and Big Fish options. |
