MinBeth User Guide
MinBeth handles crafting, gathering, fishing, material sourcing, Market Board trading, and Retainers. Create an Order for what you want, choose how MinBeth should get it, then start the queue.
Quick Start
- Create an Order.
- Choose the item and amount.
- Choose how materials should be sourced.
- Check the Order.
- Press START QUEUE.
That is the basic MinBeth workflow. The Progress page shows what the current Order is doing or waiting for.
Orders
An Order tells MinBeth what you want, how many you want, and how it should be obtained.
Amount Options
Inventory Cap
Make or obtain enough to reach the amount you entered.
Replenish
Make or obtain the full amount you entered, regardless of what you already have.
Retainer Sales
Restock an item already being sold by one of your Retainers.
Craft Quality
For crafted items, choose HQ, NQ, or Quick Synthesis. MinBeth works out the required crafts, subcrafts, and materials before starting.
Material Sourcing
This controls what MinBeth is allowed to do when an Order is missing materials.
Automatic / Gather and Craft
Use what you own first, then gather or craft what is missing.
Buy Unobtainable
Buy a material only when MinBeth cannot gather or craft it.
Buy Recipe Materials
Allow buying for materials needed through the recipe chain.
Buy Direct Ingredients
Only allow buying for ingredients used directly in the final recipe.
Gather Only
Gather the materials without crafting the final item.
Depending on the item and your settings, MinBeth can source materials from your inventory, synced Retainers, crafting, gathering, fishing, NPC vendors, exchanges, reduction, mob drops, or the Market Board.
Market Board
Buying
Market Board buying is optional. When enabled, MinBeth can buy missing materials allowed by the Order's sourcing option.
Use the Market Board settings to control price limits, how much gil should be kept, and whether HQ or NQ items are allowed.
Important: A price limit of 0 means no limit. Set your gil and price limits before enabling automatic buying.
Market Board buying is for materials. It does not buy the finished item for the Order.
Selling
MinBeth can manage Retainer listings, reprice items, revisit Retainers automatically, and restock known listings with Retainer Sales Orders.
Retainers
Sync each Retainer so MinBeth knows what they are holding and what they are selling.
Once synced, Retainer stock can be included when MinBeth plans an Order. You can also deposit and withdraw items, manage listings, and repeat ventures from MinBeth.
Deposit Blacklist
Add important items to the blacklist if you never want MinBeth depositing them onto a Retainer.
When your inventory is nearly full, MinBeth may move safe items to a Retainer to make room. Order items, food, and medicine are protected.
Good to Know
- Timed gathering nodes: MinBeth waits for the correct Eorzea time or weather.
- Fishing: Fish with time or weather requirements wait until their window is available. Rod fishing and spearfishing are supported.
- NPC vendors: Vendor buying is separate from Market Board buying.
- Retainer stock looks wrong: Sync the Retainer, then refresh the Order.
- Queue not moving: Check Progress to see what MinBeth is waiting for.
Sell, Discard, and Desynthesis: Always check the selected item and amount before starting. Discarded items cannot be recovered.
